So as some of you may know already my OH work's 6x12hour shifts at night then has 3night's off.

Well, the security company he work's for decided to moce him sites.
He got told Thursday/Friday by another guard (not a supervisor or boss) that Thursday would be his last night on this site.
Nobody rang him from work, so seeing as he was ment to be back at work last night, rang the office hoping someone would be in.
Got told that yes he was moving site's but they was not 100% sure where they was putting him, but his shifts were most likely to change too 4 on 4 off, so to take Monday night off to, and they would contact him today.

So he's just rang them, as they hadn't rang him and they was pushing it for time as they go home at the office's at 4. The only site he can do is mile's away, because they still haven't sorted him anywhere else out, so he's told them he's not doing it as he knows once he agree's to somewhere he'l be stuck there, it's too far to travel from at 7am in a morning after a 12hour shift, and he wanted somewhere closer.
So now seeing as they haven't rang him up, we are guessing he has nowhere to work tonight.

Because off his works incompetent and not listening to him when he told them AGES ago he wanted to stay close to home as I was expecting and he didn't want to have to mess them about come August, moving him site's again. He's now going to be £100+ down (just from these 2nights) and any money CSA wont drop his maintenance payment down for when he's paid for this month

Check his contract hon, I would expect it to say that they would need to give adequate notice of any changes, which obviously hasn't been done. As such they would still be obliged to pay him...

He quit :) He start's his new job tomorrow morning doing what he enjoy's doing and building circuit boards :S
So no more nights for him and early finish's of 3.30pm :)
Less pay, and less hour's but better then being tired all the time and being messed about.
