Ok so my husband and I have picked August Patrick as our top boy name. Not currently pregnant but have had the name picked and would like your opinions.

August NN Auggie or Gus my husband actually picked it and over time I have fell in love with it. I love that it is not really popular or overly used. It is an old classic name with a new modern feel that is very much our style. August means great and was common for royalty in Poland (I am Polish on my mom's side)

Patrick is after my FIL. Patrick means nobel and my FIL has a very special place in our lives.

The name is permanent and I am not interested in changing it just interested in seeing others thoughts. =]

Love it. If I didn't know 2 (one 30ish one very young) I would have used it m and I've always liked Patrick

Cute, my lo is Angas nn Angy so I prefer nn Auggie rather than Gus. I wanted to avoid my lo being called Gus at all costs hence the A rather than the U.

Overall I think August Patrick is a great name, nice ring to it.

Ya I agree I am more partial to Auggie vs Gus. But both work for a little boy. And I really want to call him fussy gussy LOL.
