Autism Diagnosis Observation Schedule

My son has to go for this later this month, is it like an exam? will they make a diagnosis from this? ive never heard about it before could anyone give me any information regarding it please. Thank you.

Hi, as far as I am aware it is a play assessment for younger children (or more structured for older) that takes about an hour.

How long have you been waiting to see someone? x

he is 4 years and 9 months olds and hes been under a Consultant since he was 2, its only been the last 18 months or so Autism was mentioned.
