Avatar help

I want to put a pic on my avatar but it keeps saying that the upload has failed. Is there a programme I can use to make sure my pic on my computer is the right file size to be used?

Just find the pic on your puter and crop it and then check the properties on it to make sure it is under the megapixels limit.

Its prob just too big.
