Avent natural bottles and comfort milk

I have the new avent natural bottles, and just moved my 8 week old onto comfort milk (aptamil). The teat size he is on is size 2, it was fine on the normal formula. However, now with the new milk, he is drinking far less, and its taking a long time to feed him. He is just falling asleep on feeds. The next size teats is for 3month +, i dont know whether to try it or if he will just drown in it. The new natural collection does not have a variable flow teat, so i'm stuck. The only option i have is to buy classic variflow teats from avent, but will they fit on the new bottles? anyone know? has anyone gave there baby size 3 teats early on? hes a big lad. Thanks x

Unfortunately the vari flow teat won't fit, we tryed. My lo had this issue but did get used to it n no probs now, maybe persevere.x
