awaiting for my scan before clomid anyone else or been in my situation? ?

So I know ive pcos and ive been told by a nurse before but its never been diagnosed offically, I have every sign though and it took me 3 years to get pregnant with my son, weight gain, hair growth etc etc, my doctor is full sure it is pcos. But just to be sure im waiting on a pelvic scan to confirm. Then I can start clomid. Its abit frustrating but luckily its only in april. My doctors not going to make me wait for the fs thank god or it would be another 9 months wait on top.

Anyone else waiting for a scan before clomid ?

I was ttc 12 months before they would scan me even though they knew about PCOS through blood tests. I dont remember exactly how long between the scan and the clomid but it wasnt that long.

I'm in Australia so I didn't have to wait a long time to get a scan (about a week) but I do remember going for my scan and having PCOS formally diagnosed. It was quite nerve racking but also good to find out for sure and then be sent off to the specialist for treatment.
