Hey girlies, well I think its about time that I started facing up to whats ahead rather than burying my head in the sand
In 2005 my darling husband and I finally got our act together and became a coupleafter lots of pushes from friends.
We pretty much decided straight away we wanted children and to pardon the cliche I knew he was the one. Two years later we still had no luck and was referred to assisted conception and waited. In the meantime we planned our wedding and happily married in july 08 in Antigua. On arrival home the next day we had our first appointment all positive we set off for a barrell of tests for me to eventually have laparoscpy
Thankfully everything came back normal (unexplained infertility) and we have been offered luckily 3 IUI and 3 IVF and god knows I know we are so lucky cos some couples dont get that opportunity.
So after months of being asked questions, countless blood tests and tests, being weighed and who knows what else I feel as if im sitting in limbo waiting for im not sure what
I have until now keep this matter quite private and only really discussed it with my husband and close friends and even at that I find it difficult to explain how I feel. I guess im starting to feel if all this confusion and waiting is a normal way to feel. Sadly the hospital dont really have much time to explain what is involved and answer all my questions so im trying to find out more online.
If anyone has any advice or words of wisdom it would be gratefully appreciated:thumpup:
Im so glad I have found this site as now I feel im not the only one on this crazy journey on what we all take for granted should be a natural right for us.
