Awww....i'm so happy right now

Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to share
I had my midwife appointment yesterday and she found my little bubbas heartbeat straight away - was fantastic hearing it and I also heard lots of movement too.
I have a huge grin my my face....

I was starting to get worried as I am not really 'showing' yet but apparently as of week 16, baby will now double in size and weight - so I may start showing sooooon

Congratulations!!! I had my appointment yesterday and it is such a relief isn't it! It was so amazing hearing the heartbeat - I couldn't keep the smile off my face.

Glad everything went well and you got to hear the heartbeat.

I'm under a consultant so saw him for my 16wk appointment. When he left the room I asked one of the midwives about listening to the hb and she said it's not something they noramlly do at 16wks cos it's far too early!!!!!

Needless to say I left feeling quite upset as I had been so looking forward to it. It was such a relief to see it thrumming away on our scan at 19+3.

Hopefully my midwife will have a listen at my 25 week appointment!!
