At 38 weeks exactly I was woke by popping in my tummy... really my tummy popped and then the gush of amniotic fluid at 2:25am. I had only been asleep for about an hour when it woke me. 
I did some clean up, text my spouse who had taken his son camping in the back country, then tried calling him. Of course he was out of cell range and could not be reached though I continued to try. I called my sister who of course called my mother and woke the kids to get them ready to go to my sisters. 5 kids packed up and I forgot to pack for me since all my hospital bags were in the truck in the back country with my spouse. Beautiful so was babies bag.
We left for the hospital after dropping the kids off at my sisters with her husband and left for the hospital a 2 minute drive away. I really didn't feel any urgency to get there and had made up my mind that I was not going to deliver this baby without my spouse. I had my sister head out to the back country where I knew he would be while passing my mother on the road, we stopped gave her my 18 year old daughter to drive with and she headed into the back country looking for him. We of couse did not find him till nearly noon and had to send my brother in law to get him since sending two people that can not see into the very dark forest was not really a great plan. Turns out we had enough time we could have gone and got him. So with my mom, sister, 2 teenage daughters, my spouses son and my spouse finally present we delivered. Once he arrived things were good and I was ready no more talk about a c-section they decided to use oxytoccin which was great. Isabella arrived by dinner less than 2 hours after the drip was started. It was great and she was finally here at 7lbs 4oz. We stayed for the night only because the dr wanted me to sleep
and then we went home to meet the rest of the siblings.
