Baby Acne?!?!?! HELP!

First off just wanted to say its been sooo long since I've posted anything and I just wanted to say HI TO EVERYONE out there!! SOO HELLO!!

Ok so Louis is 5 weeks and we went to the doc last week cause I've noticed a rash on his face! so we got it checked out and she said its baby acne and what I can do is just wash his face with some baby shampoo.. WHICH I've Never heard of that idea before... anyway.. I did for about 2 days and I've noticed it has gotten redder!! so I asked around to see what else I can do.. People told me to use Eucerin creme on his face so I've been doing that now.. it's getting drier.. is that good?? Does that mean its clearing up?

Anyway.. we're going to see a NEW Doc tomorrow to get another opinion! this is driving me crazy! and I feel so bad for my little boy... anyone else having this trouble?? What do I do?!?!

Seth has this too all over his face, top of his head, legs, tummy, back. Pretty much all over. He's 5 wks tomorrow, so almost the same age as your little boy. All we've been told is that we should use just cooled boiled water to clean them, and do it quite regularaly, so I do it every time I change his nappy. Its got a lot better since I started doing this.

Bren had it as well and I just wiped his face every morning with a warm wet washcloth.

Bella is just getting over it. There's Neutragena bar soap that works really well. It really just has to run it's course. It's your horomones leaving their body.

It will pass.Its your pregnancy hormones leaving his body.Dont use products on his face. Just clean it every morning+night with soapy water.The body will clear it up by itself,just be patient.Is not bothering him and using products may make his skin more sensitive & fragile.Good luck!

Yeah Skye has a bit of this too, behind her ears and on her face, Im just cleaning it frequently with cooled boiled water, cant really tell if its going or not yet though!

My LO had this too, just clean his face with cooled boiled water and cotton wool, it should start to disappear soon

Hannah had this too but its now all cleared up and she has no signs on her skin that it was ever there. It may take over a month to clear but in Hanahs case it didnt seem to bother her

We call them milk spots here, its due to hormones apparently. Just put some sudacream on them 2 times a day and they go. We do this with Jack and they go the next day

Just wanted to post that I took Louis to the Doc and it's a mild case of baby acne and the rest is exzima (I cant spell that) so we've been using eucerin cream and its starting to clear up already!! Thank Goodness!!
