Baby Asparin

Hello, im not sure if i'm posting this in the right place but over the past i've had such a great response from you all in here that i hope u dont mind me posting this.

Some of you know i've suffered 3 m/c's in the last 18 months, all fairly early, 4,5, and 6 weeks. However I have just found out im about 4 weeks 5 days pregnant again. My dr has just prescribed me baby asparin and a higher doseage of folic acid.... But would my m/c's be too early to be sicky blood....which the asparin solves or could this infact be a reason and resally help? I always thought asparin was for help later in pregnancy???/

If you have sticky blood baby asprin will help you as it thins the blood. your m/c isnt to early for sticky blood. Have you had any testing into your m/cs?

Firstly sorry for your losses!

My consultant put me on asprin prior to conception, so I believe you can start it straight away.

Thank you for ur replies. I was tested after my last m/c 7 weeks ago but came back all clear but they said sometimes u can get sticky blood only when ur pregnant so i could have it but because i wasn't pregnant when they tested me it didn't show? Is that right? Sorry my dr was a bit vague so a bit unsure x

you couldnt have had genetic testing that takes 3 months to process. i would have pushed for the full works chick.
No sticky blood would show up weather your pregnant or not.

No i just had my bloods taken and checked had an appointment with gynae but not until next month....didn't expect it to happen again so quick. Well i will just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope for a miracle.

My bloods came back fine however, my gyn told me to take asprin.

I'm 4+6 today, and have been taking Aspirin every day too. I've had 2 previous MC's, so I hope this is the answer fpr both of us! Keep us posted on how your doing?

the main thing to remember is that aspirin in low doses will not harm your baby.....

i've had 3 mcs in total, 4, 11 and 8 weeks. I'm now 14 weeks pregnant and have been taking baby aspirin since i found out i was pregnant this time round. I guess some might veiw it to be one of those murphys law things......

i am in the same situation as yourself and just as confused, i have had 5 mc and had all the test possible done over the last year, my gp has just put me on asprin too so hope this time it works, hope it all goes well for you xxx
