Baby aspirin and cylogest?

Hi

I went to the doctors today to confirm my pregnancy I took along my + HPT from yesterday which was lovely and dark.

I saw my lovely lady doctor who I see when I fall pregnant and she is not going to refer me to the midwife until I am 6 weeks - this is understable as I have had 3 m/cs in the past and I assume she is being sensible which I am happy with too.

She has prescribed me baby aspirin and cylogest progesterone suppositories (cannot get these until Wednesday).

Any one else on meds to help sustain their pregnancy?

I have a luteal phase defect and the cyclogest worked for me after 4 miscarriages I also have Hughes syndrome and have to inject with clexane daily x

Did u have any tests done after yr mcs? X

Thanks for this. It is always reassuring to hear of success stories How do you take your cyclogest (sorry if TMI )

Yes, I have the full blood screening and they could find nothing wrong. Before I found out I was pregnant, I tried to push for NKC testing but nothing has happened about this yet

mine were for erm vaginal use... lol

if you get to see a consultant ask about starting clexane - my consultant has said they give it to all recurrent mc patients at my hospital even if they havent been tested as it can help substain pregnancy xx

too add my cyclogest was in pessary form 400mg daily - i did mine at night just before i got into bed x

After 1 mmc and x2 mc I was on cyclogest morning and evening from about 5 weeks till 22 weeks. I'm still taking the aspirin. It seems to have worked for me so far.

Hey Hun I took aspirin till 36 weeks and progesterone till 16 weeks and am now proud mummy to ollie.
