Hi ladies,

Im taking matters into my own hands. So iv read on here about baby asprin and how it can help with getting a :bfp:! so i when into boots today, couldnt find it, went online, couldnt find it!
So if you know what it is called and where i can get some it would be a huge help??????
i figured iv got nothing to loose!

thanks very much!! x

You have everything to loose with baby aspirin! Its not for self prescribing. This should only be used if precribed by a gp and its normally only used in ttc in patients when blood clotting disorders or by the recommendation of a fertility specialist for a particular purpose.

Aspirin in pregnancy can actually caused miscarriage so dont mess around with in on the basis that it is sold otc. XXX

ditto the above. You shouldn't take it unless directed to by a dr, it can do more harm than good, unless you have been diagnosed with clotting disorder. Its certanly not a fertility aid.

ok then! thanks for your advise! i figured that because iv had no help from specalists im getting pretty frustrated when i keep miscarrying!
So know im going back to square 1!

thanks x

If you keep on miscarrying it could be due to a clotting problem, so mhy don;t you get referred and get tested for this, and other potential problems. I think they won't refer unless you've had 3 or more miscarriages though.

Good luck!

I have had tests, they all came back clear! i was told it was just bad luck!
sorry for the rant im just grasping on to eny hope possible at the moment! and im ranting just because im having an off day today!
feeling a bit crappy!
x

Hi honey, I've had 5 losses and I'm on baby aspirin (75mg) you should speak to your GP or consultant regarding this. Also, if you've had 3 or more loses and results are all clear you should consider going on the Natural Killer Cell trial in Liverpool.

X

I totally understand how you are feeling. I would def try to get referred and ad mrs jd suggests the trial may be a good idea.

I think we have all grasped at things, and I def didnt mean to sound critical. I found it helpful to find a gp with a special interest in fertility, and she was hard to find, but it made a real difference to the rate with which I was seen at the fertility dept.

I am thinking of you hun. XX

Thanks ladies! rant is over now, sorry!:hugs: thanks for all the suggestions i think im going to go back to my gp and ask whats next!

mrsjd, i live in newmarket which is in east anglia, i would be really interested in the trial but i wouldnt be able to get to liverpool does that matter? and how do you find out some more info?

thanks again x

make sure you are assertive with the gp, its easy for for them dishing out the advice sometimes. Be confident of what u want and fight for it if u have to ..

good luck x

Sorry for the late reply, I've been off line for over a week.

It was my last test, I would have travelled to Oz to have it done and to be honest I'm so glad I done the 10 hour trip to get there. Unfortunately, to qualify you need to attend the clinic.

It's well worth the trip.
