Baby Bugs Due February 2013

I don't think it's that much of an emergency, Jem, because when she passes out, her system will automatically start breathing again (as it does). I wouldn't call an ambulance. If Harry passed out, I'd do as we do at work with someone who has a vasovagal - lie him down, feet in air.

Oh that's good, I was worried I wasn't doing the right thing, thanks. I'm sure it won't happen at Nursery and if it does I'm sure it will be fine.

Read up about it, but from what I have read, the worst that can happen is that they pass out. <3

My word I would defo ring for an ambulance if it happened to one of mine because Id just panic so much!

The doc said she could have a convulsion! I'd panic then. I think coz it happens so quickly and she is fine after 5 mins I'm ok. But If Shaun's here he makes me panic, we have had some near misses this week. Thanks for advice xxx

Ruby has only had 9oz since 7pm- that's from four different bottles and lots of time x

My OH is the same Jem, he would be in a state :haha:

Aww how much has she normally had by this time?

Lucky - hope you're ok after your fall. You are "lucky" to get to ride horses, though, love them!

Jem - that would be so scary with Demi, Glad you're getting her all checked out. Not sure, but I don't think I'd call amb either if she's ok shortly and it's something that's happened before. Probably the school would call as a liability issue.

Embo - hope you're ok. What happened?

We did all our going out together on vacations the past few years and that's about it, I used to work long hours and most of our local friends had one by one moved away. We went out for dinner after the 20 week u/s last year. We really don't go many places out together, which has helped us now that Blake's here, we don't feel like we're missing out.

I should have mentioned this before but with Blake being 2 months early, his lungs are underdeveloped (basically the air tubes in his lungs are more narrow), so any cold/illness, especially flu, could jump right to his lungs and cause very serious problems. Ever since his NICU stay, all his drs and nurses look us right in the eyes and tell us any sickness in his first year, even a cold, could kill him, so we cannot take him anywhere in public around people, especially other children. It's very strict, no stores, no restaurants, no church, no guests in our home... We are allowed to take him on walks outside, just keep away from others, we cross the street or something if kids are out playing. For drs appts, we get first appt in the morning before any others arrive.

I'm sorry I didn't explain this all earlier, been tiny bit jealous of all you girls getting out and about with your babies, showing them off and having them meet family. Didn't want anyone feeling sorry for us either because Blake is doing SO well, better than even expected, and we are so very lucky.

Oh kitty hun. I understand why you didnt say xxx bless u. My germy kids are always bringing bugs home from school grrrr. Anyway your half way through the first year so hang in there xxx

Oh kitty what a worry!!! Like mf says, half way there!
I don't think they say that here though? I was three months early and ventilated for the first two months and there was no way my mum would have kept me away (love my mum to bits but she would have smoked around me knowing the damage my lungs would have already suffered)
Hope your ok Kitty, I think I'd go out my mind?

Rubu would have had double that but she just had 6oz just now I'm I'm happy now... And she had found her feet :) still no rolling though, lazy minx

Finally lauched the online baby boutique! (halosandhearts.ca)

im just working on sorting out what kind of additional stock i'd like to incorporate. I have barefoot sandals coming and all kinds of additional headband accessories (including more band styles) but i want to include more... I feel like tutus are the kind of obvious partner to headbands but I was trying to think of something else more "everyday" as that's what im going for with the site. Im also doing hair clips and working on a non-slip snap clip for super fine hair.

what would you ladies like to see more of in shops/what do you always like seeing in general?

Sorry I ran off ladies. I wish I could put what happened on here but I have a stalker who is also on the forum so I nothing I say is safe anymore on here sadly :( It's completely ruined the forum for me

Gosh em, that sounds scary! Didn't realise you could get stalkers on here. Hope you're OK.

:hugs: kitty, I think you're doing so well. I was born at 27 weeks and they thought I'd have severe lung problems and asthma but I'm fine in that respect :) glad Blake is doing well.

You're doing a great job jem

Xxx

Oh no, Embo! A stalker, wtf is wrong with some people?!? You too, MF? Makes me mad just thinking about it!

Please feel free to pm me if you want to talk about anything or just vent. I'll make sure not to repeat anything on the forum. Hope you're doing ok :hugs:

Em that sounds super scary! I hope your ok.
