Baby Bugs Due February 2013

I do sometimes have something to add to them discussions, but I am terrible with words and everyone would think I was being really rude and I don't want to be banned  So I just read. It's like a written version of Jeremy Kyle sometimes

There is a big growth spurt in month 4-5 so I am fully expecting Elodie to need more night feeds. At the moment if she has fed well in the 2-3 hours before I tend to hold her hands and 'shush' her and if she isn't hungry she will go back to sleep.

If not, I feed her!

Jade actually rejects food for comfort. She never ever falls asleep on bottle and closes her mouth if I offer it when not hungry lol x

H ladies,

Love reading from baby club it's entertaining:haha: love the weaning ones too they can get very heated!

Wow Lena on your legs already feebs likes to stand too but only for a short time!

Phoebe hasn't been well for few days after those horrible jabs but think over worst now and gone back to normal self:thumbup:

Stupidly I went and fell off horse yesterday  now unable to move left arm up, no breaks but some ligament damage I think its soo painfull! Hope it's better soon my house is going to be like a pig pen if it doesn't get better:haha:

Hope everyone is well!

thanks ap - we're right there at 18wks. I feel like I am still getting the hang of things. its like you dont want to create habits that will come back to haunt you but I dont want him to be hungry either! so hard to know what to do with all you read. I guess you just do the best you can and hope for the best.

feed it is!

In other news, I laid him down awake but sleepy and he needed just a little comfort and I THINK he is asleep  progress. We've almost cut out rocking...bittersweet. Love the weight of a sleeping baby. So comforting. but does free up some time for me!

Elsie started waking up at night again. Let the four month regression begin. Her poo has changed a bit too. Anyone else's babes breast fed BM seem thicker and a tad greener? I don't know if I should make her a appointment over it or not.

Oh I think my Mum weaning us all at 6 weeks was crazy but she just didn't really know I don't think! She used to put the babyrice in our bottle then cut the teat off :haha:

I have been giving Connor one meal a day but I won't really up that till he's nearer 6 months.

Hope your all ok, been having a hard time of it here with OH. :nope:

Happy 17 weeks to my Jack :D

Tnt hope Whit begins to settle and carry on going to sleep on his own! But I agree, I love having Jack fall asleep on me ;)

Any plans for today ladies?xxx

Embo, MIL was telling us the other day that she used to put rusks in the kids bottles and cut a big hole in the teats  how times have changed eh?

Whats happened with OH? Hope you are okay? :hugs: :hugs: xxx

Harry sleeps much better and longer in the day when he's held. I'm not sure what to make of that really. He's good at going down on his own at night (apart from the flailing arms, which I'm hoping is just a short phase!), after a little whinge, but doesn't settle alone in the day. I'm not entirely sure how to get him to sleep longer in the day without being in someone's arms.

Jade was the same bex. I started one nap a day in cot and made sure she was not over tired for the nap. I let her self settle. Its been three weeks now and she has every nap in cot if we are home. I think she has about hour in morning then 2hours then 2x 45mins x

P.s it used to take hslf an hour for her to go but now I literally put her in cot and its usually 5mins max of settling time x

Morning! :hugs:

:hugs: embo, hope you're OK?

Theo doesn't sleep for long in the day and always on me or dh. I have started putting him down after rocking him to sleep for his morning nap and he does occasionally sleep in his car seat now. Don't worry mrss I think the daytime naps will gradually lengthen on their own.

Dh is off today so we're going to try to do some unpacking.

Good night from Theo but still feel exhausted! And a bit down. Probably coming off the adrenaline I've been running on.

Lucky hope your arm gets better soon

Xxx

Elodie is a really good napper. Normally 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.

Shamefully I still make her sleep in the moses basket for naps (in the cot) she is way to big for it but she sleeps all curled up and she just loves the moses basket.
