baby clothes on a budget? asda/tesco/sainsburys.....good quality?

sainsburys all the way!! i food shop at asda and aldi but i buy my own and lo clothes at sainsburys, i allwaysit for the 25% sales or reductions or both together and i allways get some cracking bargains!! i find asdas are poor quality, tesco's to dull and for boys, not enough choice. matalans sizes are way out in size and bin caught out on allmy purchases from there, next is the best of all obviously but ive only had stuff 2nd hand of ebay from there, ebays kept my son dressed lately as he outgrew all his 6-9mth clothes after one wear grrr so i refuse to buy new now at all !

Almost all of Maisie's clothes are from asda and they are great for the length of time she gets to wear them. They have the most gorgeous Disney outfits too!

We buy most of jack and Emily's thing from either asda or sainsburys. Usually I wait till sainsburys are going one of there 25 % off days- which is quiet regularly. I also get quite alot in the next sale, NCT sales and off eBay - either new or second hand!

I LOVE Asda, Tesco's and Sainsbury's clothing :D I normally buy from Asda/Tesco and MIL buys us loads of stuff from Sainsbury's, really good quality imo. x

Primark has some nice baby clothes that i just seen the other day . Planning on getting those in the future i dont know how they wash though.

I love cute clothes and spend lots in ASDA for my lo, I went today and spent £24 on a coat, top and trouser set, night time set and a pair of booties! They wash well and are good quality...I want to buy more lol x

I buy from Asda, Tesco and Sainburys.

I find Sainsburys the best quality out of those 3. I also prefer the clothes designs they sell and their boys choices seem to be better than Asda.

They wear them for so little time it doesn't make sense to spend loads. Although i do love Next clothes but only go in there if we get given a voucher or theres a sale on :haha:

Personally i HATE supermarket clothes the quality is just awful imo. Id much rather spend a bit more and have my LO in nice clothes that havent got bobbles or wear to them after a couple of washes, i just really dont get along with them.
Primark though i dont mind as much i really do like there pj's for babies and i buy most of his socks from there.
Most of his clothes i buy from next, debenhams x

I don't find they wash very well & the sizes are funny IMO.

I've had one wear out of something I bought DS from Primark once and so have never bought outfits from there since. However I really like their vests and socks. I also bought a few fleecy sleepsuits this winter and they've lasted really well. Their clothes just don't work for us though so I don't bother any longer xx

I use Sainsbury’s and asda for some baby clothes. I think Tesco stuff is awful personally it bobbles quickly. The quality at any of the supermarkets is not a good as a lot of other places like next, M&S, Debenhams.

I buy a lot 2nd hand; eBay is your best friend. I have bought huge bundles of baby clothes at bargain prices and interestingly the brands that come through the most are Next, George (Asda) and TU (Sainsbury’s).

I shop mainly at Asda and think the quality is lovely! I also shop at Tesco depending on whether we are at my house or my OH's (Asda is closest to me - Tesco is closest to his). I find them nice but also cheap enough that I can dress her well and not feel like my bank balance is about to cry! lol

:flower:

I've been perfectly happy with the Tesco and Asda sleepsuits I bought - they've all survived 4 months of very frequent 40 degree washes (DS stayed in 3-6 months for ages) x
