Baby discharge?

I know this happens if female babies because I have one but I'm not so sure if it happens in males.


When we where still in the hospital I noticed some yellow discharge like stuff in Rylees diaper I asked if it was normal and they told me it was and that it was just her cleaning out some of the hormones that she still had in her from when she was in me.

Well for the fist week we had her on formula and I never saw any more of this discharge and then we put her on BM and formula and in this last week I have noticed that she has started expelling the discharge again.

I'm thinking its because the breast milk has worked its way into her system and its her getting rid of the hormones that are coming from the milk, but I'm not to sure.

Any one know if thats the case or if it might be something else?

Its just hormones hun dont worry Lily has had quite a bit, she may even have a bit of blood all normal
