Baby drop

Just reached 27 weeks and midwife told me the bby already dropped. What?? Isnt it too early for that?? This is my first!

Not at all, my first dropped around that gestation and I got to term, you may get a little uncomfortable but you shouldn't have any problems x

I was actually a lot more comfortable after the baby dropped!

I read that is not indicative of when the baby will arrive, unfortunately for me because my baby dropped last week at 37 weeks and I was hoping it would be a sign she would arrive soon, especially as my second was born at 38 weeks!

Darn! Im hoping for a little bit earlier arrival as opposed to 42 weeks. Wasnt uncomfortable before but since shes dropped I definitely feel the change in my body. Lower back pain and my stomach definitely feels heavier in my pelvis area.
