Hello all,
Well baby George arrived at 9.51am on Monday 12th September by planned c-section. The section was a little traumatic and it didn't help that I wasn't looking forward to it. My blood pressure dropped a few times through the op but we got through. George started crying as soon as he came out which was a good sign and looking at his notes he scored 9 on his apgar score which is really good.
He weighed 9 lb 8 oz and as he was breech too I have quite a lot of bruising to go with it.
He suffered with his blood sugars when he was born so he was taken into special care for about 24 hours so I didn't get to see him cause I couldn't get out of bed. He is ok now though and he is feeding really well.
The doctor told us when he did his last checkup before discharging that he has a heart murmor but appararantly this is fairly common and we are homing that it disappears on on its own but he is going to be called in for a check in the next few weeks so fingers crossed.
Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of my Georgie Porgie!
