Baby growth spurt

Had an 8 week scan (I'm actually 8+2) and baby measured four days ahead. Do I go by my lmp or by the measurements ?

I was told to go by lmp because of the ebbs and flows of the baby's growth. I've seen women adjust there's in the event they ovulated a week or so later because of long cycles but 3-4 days difference at various scans either way in the first trimester is normal and usually evens back out down the line.
