Baby has to suck thumb to go to sleep

Anyone else's baby have to suck their thumb to fall asleep? My 13 weeker sucks her thumb to fall asleep. She find it in the middle of the night when she wakes/stirs and it helps her go back to sleep. And if I out her down awake in her crib to sleep, she will use it to fall asleep too.

Yep both my dd and ds are thumb suckers. In some ways it's great as they can soothe themselves but I do worry about how to stop it as they get older as I worry about their teeth.

Both of my first two did. My DD is now 3 years old and sucks it pretty much all day long and I also worry about her teeth. Her dentist reassured me that she is still in the age range where they're not too concerned about it right now, however I'm hoping she will stop once she starts preschool this year and sees that nobody else is doing it. My DS only sucks it at night or when he is tired.

So cute!!! Yes my 15 week old is the same. She's the only kid that's ever sucked her thumb. It soothes her a lot since I don't give Paci
