After a 2 day slow labour I got woken up to painful contractions at 11:30pm last night I timed them and they were coming every 5 mins, after the last 2 days though I was convinced it must be my body playing tricks on me again so I got up and walked around the house thinking this would stop them but nope they kept coming so I rung hospital who told me to wait at home until contractions got closer together and more painful which gave me enough time to sort out a babysitter for my daughter and drag my oh out of work.
Anyways fast forward 2/3 hours and I felt ready to go in to hospital at this point contractions were every 3 mins and I couldn't breath through them, found out I was 5-6cm dilated so I started on gas and air then got some pethidine when contractions got worse.
At around 6:45am I got a huge contraction which had me push uncontrollably I felt a massive bubble between my legs which exploded I automatically freaked out as I thought babies head was out and I still had my pants on and midwife wasn't in the room turns out it was just my waters though thank god, I quickly got my pants off as my oh ran for a midwife I then got another huge contraction and my boy literally fell out
I got away without tearing as well so I'm relieved to have avoided stitches this time 
Anyways James was born at 6:50am weighing 8lb 2oz on the 30.12.13
Were back home now and he's so perfect
