Hi,

Does anyone have/had this pram and what do you think of it? Or how does it compare to other doubles?
I'm really struggling to find a one which the smaller baby doesn't seem wedged underneth in a tiny seat. Plus I don't want to pay £1000+ for a pram I'll more than likely only use for 7/8 months. I've found the city select on ebay f
or £500 but nowhere local has it in for me to try 😫

Do I just go for it and hope for the best?
Help me please I'm at my witts end.

I love baby jogger, I don't think you can go wrong with them!

They do look good! I like that both the seats are the same size and there seems to be plenty of configurations.
Can you lie the seats back when there's 2 on?

I'm not sure but they are pretty popular where I live :)

I love mine.....the only 2 problems I have are...

1. The seats are designed for 6 months plus. So you need to use a capsule or the clip on bassinet for the first 6 months which is extra cost.

2. Only 1 can lie down. I have DS1 in the front and DS2 in the back so that I can lie it down for him to sleep but even then it cant go all the way back.

But i do love it and I feel like both have good views so to speak and one isn't stuck behind the other.

We have the Baby Jogger City Select and LOVE it! It's been perfect for accommodating our 2 boys. I recommend it!

I have a Bugaboo Donkey Duo & love it! Hate any of the prams that are two levels or stick way out in front, they are so hard to navigate footpaths. There are lots of pram groups on facebook or local buy/swap/sell pages too where I am sure most people if local would be happy for you to come & try the pram, or offer you to give their own pram a try.

I've got a Bugaboo Donkey and love it. Had an Oyster Max with DS and DD1 and hated it - didn't like putting the baby in the carrycot at the bottom, and it was really awkward to get up steep kerbs. I love being able to have both my daughters facing me and next to each other in the donkey, and it pushes like a dream. It was a lot of money, but so many people sell them on in excellent condition for around £600-700 which isn't so bad. And you wouldn't just get 7/8 months use out of it either really. I have just under 15 months difference between my 2 girls, and even if DD1 stopped going in it at 2, DD2 will only be 9 months old so I'll just continue to use is as a single with the basket, it's not like it'll become useless. Plus at 2 years, if you were going to be walking far you may still find your eldest would want to be able to sit in a pushchair, especially if they still napped.

Love my city select, it's brilliant and we used it a lot in all sorts of configurations. We don't often use it as a double now ds1 is older but it's still great as a single for ds2. Definitely getting our monies worth as we also used it as a single for ds1 before ds2 was born!

My SIL has one and I took my nieces out in it - HELL! Very heavy to push, rubbish on kerbs and need to take the wheels off to get in the car. I was put off that so when my second came along I got a graco studio tandem duo. Is perfect for my baby and toddler. Easy to push, folds down great and isn't heavy. We won't need a double for long so the £120 price tag is great. It has a huge shopping basket too!

Sorry for the late replies, I've only just saw it had new comments.

I've looked at the donkey and I love them, can't believe how easy they are to push. The problem is I only have a little car - a Renault clio. I could probably manage to squeeze it in my boot if I take wheels and things off but I know I'll soon get sick of doing all that and not use it or not use it if I'm on my own.

I'm really torn with what to do! 😣

I have a City Select, I really like it. Nice and sturdy, spacious seats and I love all the different seating options, and that it can be used as a single. I don't drive but if we go in a car it only takes a sec to pop the wheels off to put it in a small boot (we mainly go in MIL's car and it doesn't need the wheels off). I got mine for about £350 on Ebay, with both seats and carrycots.
