Hello all

I'm just trying to decide on a double and have narrowed it down to these two. If anyone has an experience if either I'd be interested to hear your thoughts?

My initial thoughts are I love the positioning of the bjcs but it already seems quite heavy for me with just my daughter in it!

The plus with the brittax is that I already have the correct car seat to use with it, but worried my daughter won't like the second seat and being hidden away.

Thanks in advance.x

Hi!

We were also debating between these two strollers, we're only on baby #1 but I didn't want to buy a double down the road so we were looking at singles that can turn into doubles.

The things I liked about the britax was that it felt lighter, and you didn't need an adapter for the car seat if you got a britax car seat. That being said, I hated the configuration for exactly the reason you said! One child is so low and hidden, I was also concerned that the child sitting there could easily stick their hand out and grab the wheel.

We saw both strollers at a baby show and I could not go with the britax. My cousin was with us at the show with her daughter and her city select which I steered around throughout the show and it was great! Very easy and felt lightweight pushing it.

We got the city select and I could not be happier! I love the positioning so that when you have 2 kids in there they can both see, and be seen. It's also super easy to turn it from a single to double and double to single!

We have the city select - currently using with dd and it's brill. I wish I had got it when I first had dd but we weren't thinking that far ahead! It's great as a single - yet to use as a double but I think it will be fine.

I have the city select use it with just DS a c with the maxi cosi car seat plus my friends baby. I love it! It is quite heavy but not too heavy I think. Plus it fits in my ford ka boot (tiny!!). Not got the second seat yet but have the carrycot converter thing which I think is genius! Going to get the glider too x

Thanks ladies!
Ideally I think the bjcs is my preference but I'm just worried as reviews I've read say once the second child gets to around 6 months it's unstable due to the weight?!? But maybe all prams are just super heavy with two. I'll probably only need to use with the two children for a year or so.x
