We moved house last week and in out old house, we never had any interference. In our new house , for the last few nights, there has been interference. It's only for a few seconds and it happens 3/4 times during the night and it's the sound of music. I haven't a clue what it is. Next door have a baby, but I don't know if this is the cause as they are detached houses.
It's an angelcare monitor.

My angelcare monitor is the same. At my house I have it set to channel three or I get interference from next doors monitor and at my mums I have to change it to channel 2 for the same reason. I would just change the channel its set to until you get one with no interference. Its because your new neighbours probably have their monitor set to the same frequency as yours. They will probably have the same problem until you change the channel. Hope that helps. Xx

Them things creep me out. And hearing that would. I had a neighbor who played old music from the 40s and that used to freak me out. On another note you can hear music upstairs like that now and no one lives there. spooky.

I would also change the channel, I also have an Angelcare and it's picked up interference before. It stopped after changing the channel.

Our's unlinks during the night. it's super annoying (Vtech video monitor) I called customer service and they think it is our WIFI. We're going to have to move our router apparently.

I was going to say internet wifi etc. Is it near any other electricals like tv or phone chargers? They can sometimes interfere xx

I've heard that it can happen even with non-connected houses, especially with monitors that have a longer range. As others have said, it's something to do with being on the same channel/frequency. Changing it should solve the problem.

Ours just pick up extra static if it's set near other electronics.
