I am 14+1 and a first time mom. I was wondering when you felt your baby move for the first time? I know it may not be for a few more weeks, I am just getting excited for those movements!

First time mums usually start feeling baby around 17-22 weeks. It's like little flutters or bubbles popping in your belly at first. With my son I first felt movement at 17 weeks. It is supposed to be earlier with your second but of course everyone is different xx

I didn't feel anything until about 21 weeks (my first). By 24 weeks, the kicks so hard that you could see my belly move from the outside. :)

I felt DS at 17 weeks (1st successful pregnancy) which felt like a little twitch in my tummy. Im having some pressure type feelings now and think I may have felt something over the last 2 days, im 15+3 now x

I think I was 18 weeks when I felt my first flutters with my first. 16 weeks with my second and third.

With my first I didn't start feeling movement until right around 20 weeks give or take a week ;)

16+4 I felt movements for my first pregnancy and exactly same timing for second to the day! Posterior placenta for both pregnancies.

With my first it was 24 weeks (anterior placenta). With this one 18 weeks (posterior placenta). It varies significantly from person to person and pregnancy to pregnancy. It's an amazing feeling when it happens though!

With my previous 2 about 18 weeks I felt definate kicks with this one I have an anterior placenta so I cannot feel her much just a few little jabs here and there and mostly at night when I'm lying flat xox

Thanks for your replies! It sounds like in a few more weeks I should start to notice some changes!

First pregnancy for me, I felt several weird butterfly-like flutters in week 14, but it was only a couple and pretty early so I convinced myself it wasn't baby. I didn't feel anything else until week 16, when I started feeling what I thought were muscle twitches. I waited a few days to make sure they kept up before accepting that they were baby. Now, in week 19, the baby was kicking so hard that the other night, they actually kept me awake from 10:30 all the way until 1am.

I didn't really start feeling anything til 19-20 wks, and I have an anterior placenta
