Baby name Arthur

I think its cute, Ive got a bit of a thihng for 'old' names at the moment , we were going to have it as a middle name if bubs had been a boy after DH's grandad. Its not so popular over here, but apparently VERY popular in France . xx

Sounds soooo good!!

Arthur is my "family" name. Like we have 10 of them in the family.

Arthur blackston has such a brilliant ring to it!!!

Go for it. I wanted Arthur but my sister bagsied it first!

Lucky you you dont have a younger sister to bagsie names :winkwink:

I really like it
It's old-fashioned but in a nice way, and you could call him 'Artie' for short - soo cute! xx

I love it. I wanted it for our boys name but hubby hates it. It's my late great grandad's name :(

I love it. Arthur was on my short list.

Love it. A friend called her baby Arthur and it's really cute on a baby but will be good for all ages too.

I am not keen on old names honey, but if you like it then go for it! x

It's a great name. Arthur is so cute for babies but works for all ages. My niece is 15 and her boyfriend is called Arthur i think it's a really cool names for teenagers as well.

I love it :D wasn't so sure about Arthur before but the whole name has an excellent ring to it, sounds like he could be a famous actor or something lol :D

Hi, I'm glad you posted this. For some reason we started calling our bump Arthur a little while ago, and some people who know this also refer to baby as Arthur. Now we know its a boy DH is refusing to agree on any other name, he won't even seriously sit down and look at the baby name book. I don't know of any other Arthur babies yet, and its good to see that you all like it. (Sorry I hope you don't mind this mini-hijack I was just surprised to see the name of this thread!) I agree Arthur Blackstone sounds great

I was calling my baby Arthur up until my 20 week scan when we found out he was a she  I think it's a gorgeous name! <3
