baby reflux... :(

My baby is 5 weeks old and she is suffering from reflux. She has all the nasty symptoms and I'm so tired of dealing with it. She would be such a great baby if she didn't have it. Does anyone else have this problem. How are you dealing with it. I hope it gets better soon...

Quite a few of our babies seem to have reflux. Mine gets Infant Gaviscon. Best to bring her to the docs so they can prescribe as required for her. Not sure what they would give her at 5 weeks.

Also, try inclining her bed (small pillow under mattress or some books below the top legs), and perhaps something like Infacol (not sure what you get in Canada) to help the wind up.

Hey hunny i have had the exact same problem since my LO was born...he is now 2months old and still has it but not as bad. I went to the docs she did mention gaviscon but said she didnt want to medicate him as i went when he was a month old...she told me to give it time to see if proves however it didnt...so i now use infacol and i have to say it has helped slightly...or maybe you could try gripe water??

It can be really difficult babe i know...i know the exact feeling, at 1 poiint i became really stressed out about it but if i can manage it babe so can you!...i promise it will get better xx
