Baby weighs 4 pound 7 ounces at 34 weeks?

I am having a growth scan next week i hope he is a good weight.

Kirst - yeh they tell u at NHS growth scans or u can have them done privately! Of course they are only still an estimate... my friend was told her baby was going to be big, between 9-10lbs, so they gave her a c-sec and he was just under 6lb! x

I second this!!

the scans are not that acurate so I wouldnt worry! at 38 weeks they were going to induce me because baby was measuring around 8 pounds. I refused and came back at 41 weeks. The docs were expecting a 9 pounder and she was only 7lb 5 oz. The scans are just a good estimate but not perfect
