Miller bloody loves em !!!!

He sucks and sucks on them and if i try and take it off him he flips !!

I've tried replacing with a cold wet flannel but he wont have it!

Do you think its harmful ??

I'm pretty sure they're fine - I know a lot of babies, mine included, who love the things!

hope they're not harmful as i also have a lil monkey that loves um lol

and maddox too - only way to stop him rolling over while changing him!

nicole attempts or pretends to clean her face but sucks on the too. does keep her quiet too when changing her nappy and dressing her. think they maybe a bit better than a nappy - clean nappy

My Nephew used to do this all the time :baby:

If I were you, I would rinse one out in warm water, that way it will make it better for LO to suck...:winkwink:

What is it about them !!!!!

Good idea KellyC75.....but i have a feeling he just wouldnt go for it !!!

I don't know though. Have bought two types of baby wipes before my LO was born. One is specifically safe for wiping the face and LO can suck if he wants. The other is normal babywipes for butt, hands, etc.

Lily is very happy when she's sucking on a babywipe. I quickly rinse it under warm water for her.

I believe they used to make baby wipes with alcohol but since they don't anymore I'm sure it's fine :) My LO prefers to suck on his clean burp rags at the moment haha.

all i got told is one of the ingredients in them is a mild laxative!

charlie loves them too and its never changed his bum habits yet so dont think they can be that bad x:haha:

So far both my elder girls have gone through it, Mia has grown out of it and Rosa has just grown into it lol

Tushies really saved our lives... We used them on our newborn son and so far we had no issues. They clean perfectly and haven't affected our Rupert's skin. Add to these the insane price compared to the likes of Huggies or Johonsons they're just perfect! And Tushies Sensitive is Alcohol free, so it won't affect baby's delicate skin.

Most wipes contain:

"Chemicals used specifically in baby wipes include:

Fragrance – can be made up of 1000’s of different chemicals many which are toxic when inhaled or absorbed through skin.

Pthalates – used to make fragrance last longer – considered to be a reproductive toxin.

Propylene Glycol & Butylene Glycol – Also found in windshield wiper fluid!* The EPA considers them so toxic they say that skin contact or inhalation can cause brain, liver and kidney abnormalities.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate & Sodium Laureth Sulfate – SLS is linked to skin irritation, eye irritation, rashes and hair loss. Animal studies show eye damage (especially to young), immune system damage and death. It can create nitrosamines which are carcinogenic.* Once absorbed into the skin, it can be detected in your organs for a lifetime.

DMDM & Urea – is a preservative that releases formaldehyde which causes allergies, chest pain, fatigue, ear infections, immune dysfunction, asthma, heart palpitations, cancer and more.

Polyethylene Glycol – (PEG) –Petroleum ingredient that is carcinogenic and dehydrates your skin.

Parabens –They are strong hormone disruptors and have been directly linked to breast cancer and heart problems. Often listed as Methylparaben, Probylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben & Benezylparaben."

I don't think I'd let my baby put that in my mouth. Hell, I wouldn't even use it near their face.

snap. my lo just loves to crawl around with one hanging out his mouth. i find it hilarious. i try to keep them out his reach though as he will empty a pack in seconds. he loves them hehe.
