Baby with a cold.

My son is 1 next month and hes got a terrible cold..he cant drink his milk and he hates eating coz he has to catch his breath after each mouthful. Im giving him calpol to help him sleep at night...and olbus oil for children on his pillow but im not sure how to help him during day..dont wanna keep dosing him with calpol during day...Anyone got any suggestions?

have you got a nasal aspirator? and some saline drops? they were the only things to work when my little ones were so small. oh and propping their mattress so they can breathe better.

I havnt got the nasal thing or the saline drops..do you have to go to doctors to get these?

no just go to any chemist, the drops are about a quid and the nasal aspirator is a couple of quid; well worth the money though.
