Baby worries! Anyone share same thoughts?

yes i have heard about it but cant seem to make sense of it all! How does it work and what ovulation tests did you use! x

I have bought some cheap ones from ebay, I just bought 50 for about £8 lol

the SMEG is where you have sex on cd8 then every other day, till you ovulate, then you do it that day and for 3 days after! but i can get quite sore (sorry tmi) so this is sometimes a little difficult! lol i have also bought some pre seed, which is meant to help. x

i will have a look on ebay then and when do you use them! i cant get my head round the whole cycle thing as like i said babies have never bothered me until now! x

CD1 is the first day of your period, so as i havent had a 'real' one yet i am just counting from the first day of my withdrawal bleed, as this is all i have to go by!

I started using them from the day i finished my withdrawal bleed. i got my first positive on june 8th, so currently i am in my first two week window so to speak, so i am hoping to be pregnant lol (although this is probably unlikely, but then again who knows!) or i am hoping my period will turn up so i can start charting for real, if you know what i mean? its all very confusing! x

No you make sense but it is very confusing! I will wait for my first true period before i start using them! are there any that you reccomend? x

I have been using these ones

i am also worried that my true period will never turn up! oh boy, far too many things to worry about!

brill i will get some ordered and what part of the day do you test? x

I test when i get home from work about 4/5ish :) x

Yay, I'm waiting for mine to come too. I've just about finished the first lot lol

I know. I just want my baby now though! Lol xxx

Hi there, I am only new on here, having only recently seriously started thinking about starting a family.

OH and I have been together for 13 years, since we were 17, we have lived together for 5 years and got engaged at christmas.

We are both 30, and reading some of the posts on here, feels quite old, but now that I am seriously thinking about it, I am freaking out that it wont happen, one of us will have something wrong, I also keep thinking that surely, of all the unexpected pregnancies that occur, it would have happened to me at some point over those 13 years!

We havent started actually trying just yet, but it terrifies me when I see the disappointment in some of the posts where it is month after month of waiting.

YeS we are hoping to get pregnant sooner rather than later but it does make you worry! It just doesn't seem to bother you until you decide you want a baby x

Before joining BnB (in WTT) I never really worried too much about TTC...only because I never really heard about anyone having trouble getting PG and was drilled for years that one night of unprotected sex would result in a baby. Well...after browsing TTC I realized it's not that easy...and realized that the reason I had never heard of it is because it's such a personal and emotional journey that it's something that people only really talk about in a safe (an anonymous) environment.
Part of me is the optimist in thinking that I will get PG in my first real TTC cycle. And my mind makes up reasons to back this up because of how much I want to believe it. OH has 4 kids already (2 were conceived on BCP) so I assume no problems there! And my family (both grandmothers, and mother) never had ANY problems getting PG...actually they got PG while on BC! My mother got PG with 2 of her kids on BCP and one of them using condoms. But then there's also this little voice saying "how can you be so sure? what makes you so lucky?. This is because of how many women I see struggle on here. I think if I were to get PG in the first cycle, or even in the first 3, I would feel guilty about it. I really feel for women who have trouble and suffer so much trying to get PG. I wish I could wave a wand and make everyone here get their BFP's!
I also have a few medical issues that COULD cause TTC issues. I have mild PCOS and a few cervical surgeries that could cause difficulties (in pregnancy and in TTC). But my doctor thinks I shouldn't worry about it quite yet, which I agree. It doesn't help to worry. Being diagnosed with GED (generalized anxiety disorder), panic disorder, and agoraphobia I know a lot about that. Worrying doesn't make anything better. Actually stress can be one of the worst things for your body. It CAN affect ovulation and your cycles. When I was a teen I had periods come 2 weeks late during flare ups of my anxiety disorder because of the stress. So the most important thing that I know I can do is to take a deep breaths, calm down, and don't let myself get overwhelmed with negativity.
Stay optimistic girls! And I really do hope that everyone gets their BFP's really soon!!!:hugs:
