Hi, I have a Doppler and usedit regularly with my dd, whose HB was about 164 most of the time. This baby has HB of around 145, I am thinking this is a boy ( but recorded not to find out)
What were/are your experiences of HB equaling babies sex? Xx

With my son his heart rate was always around 140 and this time it's been around 160 and it's a girl!

i dont think is any connection. i was reading this earlier. x

I think the hb theory is meant to be used in the first 9 weeks.

That being said from day 1 my dd was always 160 and up to 176 and my DS so far has always been around 150, 112 before 9 weeks.

Well, if the heartbeat theory were true three of my boys would be girls. It was right for my first though so I really believed it for a while.

My :blue: HR was 164 the first time I heard it and it gradually went down to 150 and stayed there... This one, first HR was 150 and has gradually snuck up to 163 but unfortunately we didn't get an answer as to what gender.. I just think each and every pregnancy and baby is different. Wives tales have been wrong too much lol
