baby's reaction to new cloth

Does anyone elses LO seem to know the moment you put them in a new cloth nappy and instantly poo in it, or is it just mine?

Everytime, lol. We use disposables overnight if I sleep at my Mum's and when I put Mairi back into cloth to take her home in the morning, she explodes! I suppose it's just her wee way. x

Lol yep! Hayden loved to "christen" his goodmamas..the most expensive diapers I bought...every.single.time

i think they consider it complement to the nappy - it's enough enough to poo in, cheers mum!

Joshua pee's and poops at or just after a change all the time! We are practising EC part-time, by doing cue noises whenever we can tell he has gone which is easier with poop than pee but not using a mini potty yet (will get one when he can fully hold his head up). So I try to convince myself that he is becoming aware that changing time is a good time to go but that is probably wishful thinking on my behalf.
