Hello all,

I used to be very active on these forums a few years ago and then after WTT and then TTC I slowly stopped coming on here.

I've spent a while trying to work out which board I belong to now as I'm not quite WTT but not quite TTC again yet however undergoing testing.

I'll try give you all a little background.

Me and hubby got married in June 2012 and decided to TTC after this, fast forward a year after having the implant removed and no regular cycles let alone a BFP.

Cue the testing, so we got reffered I had all my bloods done, ultrasounds, swabs, etc. PCOS.

Then hubby needed a SA. This got done end of last year, we only just got the results last week that confirmed again I have PCOS but hubbys swimmers are better than good. 56million, 60% mobile, 5% correcty shaped.

I have 2.5 stone to lose until I will be offered clomid however I have been told as soon as I get to the right weight it will be offered! I'm hoping to be there by Xmas. My last test I need is a HSG on Thursday this week. Then its all a waiting game.

So hello all :) xx

Welcome back!

Why the long delay in getting back to you with the test results?

Good luck with the HSG.

Thanks hun.

I have no idea, I kept ringing and ringing and they said "yeah we have them" and then kept delaying the appointment! Which is frustrating as if we had known back then I would more than likely have lost the weight by now as my mind is focused on losing it now I know I have a deffinate goal.

Can't go for the HSG now as still bleeding so will wait for a month or so then take the hormones to induce a bleed then go.

xx

I am also back from a 6 month hiatus lol. We took a break after 2 failed IUI's and several rounds of clomid. I'm also PCOS but hubby has poor morphology..double whammy. We had to take a break! I lost 24lbs, and still hoping to lose a few more, and have gone off the refined carbs and cut out pop and sugar, and exercise when I can (not as often as I should) I also take metformin, have for a long time due to the PCOS. My last 3 cycles were closer to normal than ever for me, 32-36 days and last month I thought I may have ovulated...today I got a BFP! Still in shock...and it's still so early but the fact that we can conceive despite the odds gives me hope. I had given up getting pregnant on our own but we couldn't keep doing treatments because we just can't afford them. I hope so much for you that your journey ends soon and with a sticky bean!!
