Hi Ladies,

I’ve been MIA for a while because I found out I have a large uterine septum that will need to be removed before I can conceive. The surgery was pushed back due to the pandemic, but now it’s been rescheduled for this month. I’ll also be having a laparoscopic procedure at the same time to check that everything else is fine. DH has his sperm tested and in the words of my doctor ‘this sperm will get you pregnant’, so he’s all good and problem lies only with me as far as we know.

Has anyone ever had either of these procedures (uterine septum removal or exploratory laparoscopic surgery)? What were your experiences like? How was the recovery? I’ve never had surgery before and I’m quite scared of getting anaesthesia. I’m also wondering if they find endometriosis (I have a couple symptoms of it) if they will be able to remove it at that time.

Thanks for the info and wishing you all the best!!!
