Back pain at 15 weeks!!

Has anyone else have back pain this early on? I'm just coming up to 16 weeks but have had back pain for a while. It's especially painful right now as I've been sorting through stuff and moving bits about. But why do I have it in general? I would expect it later on when I have a big bump but it's not that big yet!

I also have been having backpain for about 4 or 5 weeks now. It was pretty bad for a few weeks (sciatic nerve pain) which has now went away and replaced itself with my shin being numb. I mentioned this to my OB and she said that it is just from all of the pressure, not just from the baby but the placenta, water, etc. If it gets too bad physical therapy or a chiropractor that specializes in pregnant women can help. I've had back pain on and off for about three weeks now. I'm pretty big for my time but not to the point that it should cause this much discomfort. I'm going to have a chat to the midwife about it today. I bought a bump support band that seems to help a little. Might be an idea for you just to distribute the weight a little to help?
