Bad reaction to formula?

Up until 2 days ago Ozzie had never had formula. I introduced it to go on his weetabix in the mornings because he's still breastfed.

I got him Aptimal Follow On because our older son had no problems with it. However on his first sitting he threw up instantly his whole breakfast and today whilst eating dinner (not with formula) he again threw up the lot. Could it be a bad reaction to the formula? It just seems weird that he's never done that before and now he's done it twice in two days?

I'm not sure but I didn't want to read and run!

If he's thrown up food with and without formula in it then it'd suggest it's not the formula causing it. Could it be that he's simply trying to eat too much solid food and he's overfacing himself so throws up?

It's very unusual to be allergic to formula but not unheard of. I'll be interested if anyone else has experience of this happening.

:hugs:

My lo throws up formula and also gets a rash wherever it touches her skin. I think she has a milk protein allergy. Has he ever had any other dairy? We have got blood tests to test for allergies in a couple of days. Does seem weird that he threw up again later though. Maybe he has just got a bit of a bug. Hope he feels better soon.

Connor has a cows milk protein allergy and before he went onto neocate milk he was constantly sick and covered in a rash and basically just screaming in pain most of the time, did he seem uncomfortable when having it? Has he got a rash?

Or do you think he could have a lactose intolerence as i know thats more common than an actually milk allergy
