was just wondering if you ladies thought it would be okay to have a baking soda bath, (like half a cup of baking soda in a warm bath)
i' had the beginning of a yeast infection thanks to some lovely antibiotics for a uti ! (the fun never stops! yay!)

anyway, just wanted to hear thoughts on this!
thanks!

Im assuming it would be fine as long as the bath isn't to hot. I know you can also shove some organic plain yogurt up there to help things.... may want to check that out and double check its okay for preggo ladies.

it's so annoying! it isn't "up there" it's just itchy everywhere else.
i don't even feel like it's taking care of my UTI. balalajsfkh.

Damn that must be so annoying. Have you tried the vagasil cream? That always used to work for me.

Just read your post and now I'm worried, I've just found out I have a uti despite no symptoms and am about to start antibiotics but i REALLY could do without a yeast infection afterwards!!! This has floored me lol

Use canesten I've heard it good, there are 2 creams only one is recommended while pregnant

Ive also heard that a UTI will lead to a yeast infection. I know a girl who is going through it as well. Yay pregnancy! :P

well!! a uti can hurt your baby, a yeast infection cannot.
my doctor told me any over the counter is fine for yeast infections but i use good ol natural extra virgin coconut oil. i just apply to the itch & it stops instantly :) - it has natural fungal killing whatevers in it (i'm so professional sounding, right?)

baking soda baths also help! warm bath with half a cup of baking soda in it.
i avoid medication if i can! monistat 7 is the best if it comes to that though, my love.

i have a uti, a slowly fading yeast infection AND i passed a kidney stone today. (talk about ow!!!)... but my worries about cervical incompotence has pretty much faded.

The over the counter creams are safe to use. Just don't take the oral medication or use the pessary.
I've not heard of using baking soda in the bath, but I don't see how it could cause a problem. We can safely use bubble bath, right up until the waters have broken, so I doubt adding baking soda would be any different.

Yeah I read untreated if it becomes a kidney infection it can cause some problems but my midwife said as long as I treat it with the meds now we should be fine. I totally overlooked the yeast infection though lol.

Also I hate taking meds unless I really have to!!
Thanks for the tip on the natural bits

Omg a kidney stone too? Jeez I feel bad for you!!
