Bald baby = Curly hair ?

Is this true? Two different old ladies have said that since my baby is bald, it means she will have curly hair.

Totally not true! My brother's kids were the baldest I've ever seen and and have super straight hair.

My LO is still nearly bald and you can see some hair coming through which looks curly. His dad had really curly hair when he was little so I think it will be.

Dd has only just started gettin hair (she's 17 months) n it's straight and really blonde! I don't think there's any correlation x

i was bald and have blonde super curly hair. DD1 was bald and is also blonde with curly hair. Now DD2 is bald too...so let's see!

I was born with "2 hairs and a bit of cotton" as my mum put it, and my hair is dead straight with a little annoying kink on the left side. I started off platinum blonde but as I got older, about age 4-5, it turned mousey brown, and now it's quite dark!

Goes to show you never can never tell what your little one will turn out like.

I have a baldy, and she's now got very blonde straight coarse hair all over (strange to be coarse?!) so hoping eventually she will have thick blonde hair!

Paige was a baldy, and still only has a very little amount of hair. It is definitely going to be curly (she has a very curly tuft at the back) but I had an afro as a little girl, and OH also had curly hair. I am still unsure what colour it will be. Some days it looks very blonde, others it looks more light brown.

Never heard of this before in my life. Curly hair has to do with genes not if bald or not.

Never heard that one before? my LO was born with alot of hair and as she's getting older her curls are coming through and everyone comments on that

I have tight curls and my mum said out of all my siblings i was the baby with the most hair

I was bald (or almost bald) until I was about 18 months old. And when my hair came though it was suuuuper curly!!! And still is, but I tame it with my straighteners haha.

I was bald forever, and my hair isn't curly. My son was bald too, and he has straight hair!

I was baldish and had blonde curly hair but it got darker as I got older and is now very dark and naturally curly/frizzy

But my nan always told me if you eat your crusts on your sandwich & toast etc it will make your hair curly
