Went to the doctors after being TTC for a year with no sucess.

The doctor was positive.

I have to two lood tests one at cd5 and cd19 (typical as on cd7) so will have to eait until next month.
I have to have a triple swab to check out i don't have Chlaymida etc, so that is next friday.
Husband has to book an appt with his doctor for a SA.
Then when all the tests are back he'll see us together and talk us through the results.

He said there is no reason on the outside why we should be experiencing problems. His exercising is no real issue as are his exscerise suppliments etc that he takes to recover.
So he ordered us to keep at it and go for it this month as usually when he refers people they find out they are pregnant as the stress has been taken away etc..

So we'll give it a good go again this month and see what happens.

But am very pleased the ball is rolling as i am 37 and the clock so to speak is ticking etc.

Hi,

Im in the same position. Just starting all the first tests at doctors and they have referred us to the hospital infertility clinic for an appointment there. We have been TTC number one for a year. Are you TTC number 1?

I'd love someone to go through this whole process with. All my friends have children already, so i havent told anyone we are having problems yet. x

I'm in the same boat MrsBroody! TTC # 1 for 16 months now. I've now been to my RE 3 times...in two weeks! lol I feel like we are going to be tired of seeing each other but it'll be worth it. Have you had any tests run yet or are you waiting for specialists appt? It would be great to find people in this similar stage of trying! :hugs:

Hi babygames,

I feel the same, that its nice to chat with people in similar situation to myself.
Ive had blood tested for lots of things and all came back normal, but they forgot to do one certain test, so I have to go for another blood test on thursday.
My hubby has paper work and pot to do his SA, which he will do this week.
We got a letter from docs to say they have referred us to FS, so just have to wait for first appointment.

I just want to get things moving asap.

Its good that u can see your RE so often, as i hope they are bothered about me when I finally go for appointments. What point in your journey are you at now? What CD are u? x

I am on CD11. Have an ultrasound tomorrow morning and may get a trigger shot to help release an egg...Crazy thing is that my husband now works out of state and I'll have to travel as soon I leave the doctors (6 hrs) to get my deposit HAHA.

My husband had his SA last year and everything came back normal. I had my HSG in April which showed that my right fallopian tube was blocked. My first appointment with the fertility speciaist they took lots of blood, and did a vaginal ultrasound...low TSH, low progesterone, thin lining was the outcome. They have been checking my ovaries by ultrasound often and said I have plenty of eggs. They are trying to increase my progesterone to thicken my lining and allow me to hang on to a pregnancy. The clomid should shorten my cycles so that my luteal phase is longer . Whew - feel like I am rambling now..If you have any questions please ask and I'll help if i can....This will give you a laugh ---I have to take progesterone and and estrogen vaginally and I am like smurfette now... Are you nervous or excited about your 1st appt??

As if you have to travel 6 hours to get to your hubby!! thats dedication :-)

Sounds like you are having lots done, I hope it is all successful for you.

I dont feel nervous or excited yet, I just want to know when the appointment will be. I hope I dont have to wait months for an appointment. I guess it's just a waiting game and how long is a piece of string! But i will be happy to get things moving, as i feel my life it just standing still at present.

Im on CD1 today. My cycles are about 31-47 days long. so might be a problem there that could need correcting .

Have you had any tests at all? I had a few done with my regular OBGYN that kind of got the ball rolling but with no improvements we all wanted a more aggresive approach, which led us to to the fertility clinic. I had to wait about 2 weeks for my first apt.

I have to tell you - my first appt. was a whirlwind! Go here, do this, give blood, lay down, get results, dr consult.... BUT - I felt a lot better afterwards. I was so scared to take clomid this month for the first time but I didn't have any of the typical side effects...I actually had the opposite..total euphoria! I think part of it is finally gaining a sense of hope that we actually have a better chance of getting a :bfp:

My cycles run about the same as yours...anywhere from 31-48 days!

You must be excited!! That's awesome to hear that the doctor doesn't expect any real issues...would be amazing if it's a simple fix and you are preggers soon! I feel like my clock is ticking at my age (I'll be 30 in 2 months) so I can imagine what your feeling :hugs:

No I haven't had any tests apart from a blood test - but dont know the details except that it was all normal.

Hope I only need to wait about 2 weeks for appointment too!!!

Yeah getting any kind of help would bring back the hope I once had when we started TTC.
I hope you get a BFP soon hun. xxx

You too!!! Please keep me posted and let me know how this journey goes for you!
