Baseline Scan Question

I had a CD4 baseline scan today and they found many follicles (one which was larger than expected). I won't find out what that means until tomorrow and I'm curious if any of you have had a similar experience. Basically, I want to know if you've had a baseline scan, what size were your follicles and what did your lining look like? If you've had a large follicle so early in the cycle, were you able to resume treatment/meds?

When my baseline scans were done, my endometrium was nearly none existent and my ovaries showed no signs of growing follicles. Mind you, I had been having my hormone production suppressed for at least two weeks. Are you on down regging meds or are you only taking clomid? If you're not suppressing then your endometrium/follicle sizes could be totally different...

Thanks for replying Maz. I am still on Clomid but may move to injectables soon.

It turned out fine. I did have one larger follicle, which was odd so early in my cycle, but they decided to continue with the meds. My lining was good.

Just noticed your signature. Are you taking down regs already or is it too soon to start for your Oct. IVF? Good luck hun. xx

on cycle day 6 i had 7 follicles in my left and 11 in my right on this cycle, i didnt find out what size they were but it sounds good x
