Baths - How often and at when do you bath you LO?

I bath LO everyday and always have since birth. He is now 9 months. We do it every night before bed. Sometimes he showers twice if he is awake and I need to shower I take him with me.

i bath alexa 2 times a week or if she makes a mes of her self then she gets an extra bath
the reason i only do it twice a week is she has eczema and it fkares up real bad whn i wash her toom uch and its taken us months to get it under controll so dont want to spoil it and flare it back up iykwim
i freshen her up though between baths

Every night! After dinner, it is ALWAYS necessary.

Every other night, she bathes before her final feed. Charley is usually in bed by 7 or 7:30.

Sophia gets a bath every night OR every other night depending on how her day went. Then she gets a bottle and goes to bed. :flower:

2-3 times a week, every so often only once a week. I'd love to do more but me being on my own most of the time, it's hard when LO hates water. I don't do it at bedtime for the same reason and also because there's so much going on in the evening already (bottle, his dinner, preparing and hopefully eating my own dinner, wipe down, and bedtime bottle).

I also read of someone on here who had to give her LO a bath in the middle of the day once and the baby got confused and thought it was already bedtime, so I avoided making it a bedtime routine. Usually I do it some time in the afternoon.

Ava has a bath every night after her tea at 6pm. She has done since she was around 7 months. xx

Every night before bed, no matter what. I really think it's what helps get into a routine. When he was only pooping every other day I would still give him a bath but it just be warm water.

The OH baths Tommy every night except some weeks every other night at 6pm I usually just miss it. But it makes weekend baths more fun. I think his routine will change a bit with the OH being 17 weeks pregnant she won't be bending down that far soon :)

Celeste gets a bath every night at the same time as her brother. Then we give them a massage and off to bed (as her Daddy would say: "You have a date with your personal cloud that will carry you to dreamland.")

We do a bath every night at about 6:30-7. DD doesn't actually go to sleep until around 8:30- but every night at 6:30 she gets really fussy and cries a LOT until we bathe her. Then she is relaxed and likes to "hang out" for a while, nursing, "talking", etc. before she finally goes to sleep. We started doing the bath every night when she was about 5 weeks old. Funny that she gets so upset at 6:30- every night- she knows and likes her routine!

LO is one year old and we bath/shower her every other night generally around 6:30, followed by bedtime and last breastfeed around 7, asleep around 7:30.

Our LO is 5 months old and has always had a bath every night- here in Japan a nightly bath is a pretty strong part of the culture, for everyone, not just babies :) It's usually a pretty quick one with only a minimum of baby wash and no bubble bath. We don't use lotion afterwards but have never had issues with dry skin.

every night before bed since he was 5 weeks old.. we just use water though except once a week when I use California baby fragrance free body wash
I do it the nights after the inlaws watch him since they kiss him all over :haha:

Every night around 7.45pm. I've done it the same every night since she was about a week old. The only time she hasn't had a bath at night is when she's been in hospital.

We bathe her at 6pm as part of her bedtime routine (after dinner time but before her bottle), and we bathe her every night. She's 16 months old, but we've bathed her every day since she was one day old. We have to here, because it's a warmer climate, so she sweats lots, and it's nice to be able to send her to bed fresh and clean. We use Johnsons top-to-toe on her.

My LO is 5 months old & he has a bath every night unless we are out etc.
When he was little i have to have we hardly bathed him, i found it much easier to top and tail him as i struggled holding him in his little bath!!

:flower:

Callie gets bathed every night as part of her bedtime routine about 7-7.30pm
