Has anyone got a Baumatic cooker (pref freestanding) we're looking at buying one but can't seem to find any in stores

Don't really want to order one without getting a feel for them 1st.

I have a baumatic 90cm dual fuel range cooker. I've had it for over six years now and it's given me no problems so far *touches wood*. I decided to buy it when I worked in a kitchen design company as it was one of the better ones that we sold - apart from smeg and I didn't see the point in spending the extra money for the badge ... I'm not sure where you would be able to see one before you buy it, as I got mine direct from our supplier. Good luck on your hunt ...

Are they quite solid feeling? I hate nothing much more than a tinny cooker!
I've phoned Baumatic but cannot find any of their suppliers they quoted that actually stock the one we're after!
