Just read an article on BBC News about the fact that overweight women have a much less chance of conceiving. See https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7137311.stm Ive read this so many times recently and I just think its important to keep in mind for those of you who have been trying for a long time and feel theyre overweight theres probably a connection.
I say this cos a woman at work has been TTC for 3 years. 6 months ago, she decided to shift some weight (shes 2 stone over her normal weight recommendation) and went to Weight Watchers. She lost 1 and half stone over 6 months, and last week told me she was pregnant (only 5 weeks so far, but PG after 3 years of trying!! She thinks its connected).
I think for any of those TTCers whove been trying for a long time and are also overweight, this is a great New Year Resolution idea. x
