That depends, if your OH has a low sperm count then you should only BD every other day or whatever your doc advises... The sperm need time to develop anyway so I think every day is what's generally recommended even if OH has normal sperm count

I have also heard that you shouldn't bd more than once per day, to give the sperm a chance to build back up in between tries.

Me and OH bd every day around ovulation time, however, OH had an abnormally high libido at the beginning of last cycle and we bd'd every single day and then bd'd twice on CD15. I dont know if this was to our detriment but this cycle we're going to bd 2-3 times a week except around ovulation when we will bd CD10, 12, 14 15 and 16 miss one night and then 18 for good measure - it's called the sperm meets egg plan and is advised for women ttc after mc. On cycle 3 so figure it's worth a shot!

According to my FS, if the sperm count is normal then the more sex the better. So taking that in mind we BDed every night for week Ov due and twice a day on day before Ov due and on ov day. We managed to time it perfectly too!

Ov'ed sometime on Sunday and we BDed twice on Saturday and twice on Sunday. (Threw in another last night just to be sure!)

My doctor advised every other day and me and my dh have no known fertility issues. She recommended every other day to help the sperm build up. Bd'ing to often can cause the sperm to be weaker than those that have had time to develop longer. I think twice a day is too much when ttc.

My DH couldn't BD twice a day even if he wanted to! how do your DH/OH's do it? Are they 18 years old? We go every other day until we think I am going to ovulate then try to go everyday for the few days.

My fertility doctor told us every other day, even though my OH has an unusally high sperm count. He said normal, low or high, every other day to let sperm recoup.

I normally do every day from about CD11 till about CD20 but that's only cause cycles were a bit messed up after two m/c and I wasn't sure what day I OV'd. Now I know it's roughly CD17 I am now trying the sperm meets egg plan, so every other day from CD11 then every day that you have a +OPK then one night off then one last try the night after.
