After seeing the HB I am getting extra paranoid about everything.

I do enjoy a 'beer' or two most nights lol, it does say alcohol free but then on the back it says 'no more than 0.05%' - is this safe?

A lot of the time I mix it with lemonade or lime just to vary the taste, I know it doesn't sound a lot to us but could it harm baby? :(

It really should hurt baby cause there isn't hardly enough alcohol to do anything so if you want, enjoy it :) I'm more paranoid and I don't think I would be able to drink it.

I have had a few bottles of this at bbqs too. My thinking is as long as your not drinking lots of it then it will be fine.

The only time your baby will ever get any alcohol in its blood stream is if you have so much that your liver can't process it all, ie. when you feel a tiny bit tipsy, or just before. This beer sounds absolutely harmless :)

Of course it is safe and you can drink as much of it as you like. They can never guarantee to have got all the alcohol out in all cases so they can't write zero percent. Really it is zero percent but legally they have to cover their back. It's like domestos says it kills 99.9% of all germs because if they say 100% and someone finds one germ they could be in trouble.

Honestly, it is a NON-ALCOHOLIC drink ladies! regular beer is 5% and this is 0.005% that means that you would have to drink 4000 bottles of them to get the same amount of alcohol as a regular becks.

You could always try virgin strawberry daquiries or something else to give you something new, I think I'll stick to those :)

Thank you! I don't really have that much, just one or two every other night, most nights I will drink fruit juice then fall asleep!

I actually got ID'd buying it once because they still class it as alcohol, I was so embarrassed, you wouldn't think I was nearly 30!

You can get drunk off this but after drinking 68 of them. Lol. So you r safe enjoy.

My husband was born with fetal alcohol syndrome. Because of it, I say he's slower than the average bear. In reality, he can't read, do simple math, and he has some problem solving skills. He lucked out in that he has no physical issues resulting from this. I married him because he is a good person, but because of his condition, I discourage ALL women from drinking while pregnant. Period.

But she isn't drinking alcohol! There is NO way her baby could get fetal alcohol syndrome from drinking a few non alcoholic beers.

I drank the Becks Blue all they way through my pregnancy (like not every day but every time we are at an event where people were drinking) and I never worried. There is like NO alcohol in there, as someone said about Dettol and 99.9% it's just to cover themselves. Enjoy your fake beer :haha: xxx

It would take her 68 of these to even consider 3 real bears. To even get drunk. It doesn't have enough real liqure to do damage. I am against smoking and drinking as well. But this really doesnt have alchy in it. Its been taken out and only a little is there if any at all.

I've had the occasional one as well and have never met anyone pregnant or otherwise who thinks it's bad. My mum admitted to having a few glasses of wine every week when she was preg with me - I was shocked! How times change eh?
Enjoy your non alcoholic beer my dear! X
