bedtime milk

my lo is 10 months, he has 2 bottles morning and before bed.he goes to bed about 7 and up till now had been having his 2nd bottle up in his room at about 645 then going to bed (drowsy but awake to settle himself).

lately he is grizzling and desperate for his milk by about 6 - should i start letting him have it downstairs and then taking him up to bed later? am hoping he would still settle? he holds his bottle himself but i generally let him sit on me for the bedtime one as its a nice cuddle!

wat do others do? hes not ready for bed at 6 just desperate for his milk? ive tried feeding him bigger tea but its definately the milk he wants xx

Hi. What we do is give lo his milk downstairs at 5.45pm then take him upstairs at 6pm for story, bath etc then give him the option of another 100ml just before he goes into his cot 6.45pm . It seems to work really well been doing it for 4 months now.

that does help, thank you! he ended up having 6oz downstairs at 6pm, another 7oz upstairs at 7pm! went in his cot awake and has taken himself off to.sleep.

hes so active i think maybe hes just really hungry at the moment-growth spurt?!
