it comes in capsules or you can take royal jelly, it is suppose to have the same benefits. All in all it is a VERY GREAT vitamin! Has all the vitamins you need for you body to conceive and gives you lots of energy and increases your sex drive! The royal jelly, bee pollen or bee propolis is suppose to have a healthy intake for your body and actaully make your egg stronger and produce more eggs. In men, it makes the sperms stronger and healither so we can acheive successful pregnancies instead of miscarriages! Me and my hubby are taking bee pollen capsules, I take 3,000 mg a day and he takes 2,000 mg a day! This is our first month and we are going to :sex: everday until we get a :bfp: ! One couple at our church, the woman took the bee pollen capsules and ended up pregnant the 2nd month! I found mine at GNC for like $12 or 13. It is not very expensive!

Interesting. Someone actually just gave me some propolis but I didn't really know what it was for! I'm going to go take some, haha!

By the way, do you have a source you can link me regarding the supplements so I can get more info?

Hey! This site has everything! From diets, vitamins to help your chances on getting pregnant. The site is

https://natural-fertility-info.com/

I'm actually doing a diet on there too! They say bee pollen, bee propolis and royal jelly is a VERY EXCELLENT natural fertility vitamin and overall it helps your body and health! It is an all good vitamin for all kind of good reasons!

Tread with great caution using bee pollen/royal jelly. It can cause anaphylactic shock and ultimately can kill you and other allergic reactions. You should always consult with you gp when taking things even when they are "natural".

Mazza2003, have to agree, I found out the same when did research and have posted it on here just short while ago. Best to be cautious me thinks

I second the above - particularly if you have any history of hayfever, ashthma or eczema. It could kill you and then it's a lot harder to conceive....

personally i like advise from girls here about things that help but when it comes to any kind of pills or something put into the body i will always consult a doc first anyways i just hope the other girls will to regardless what they want to take natural or not, theres actually alot of natural stuff u CANT have when preg so natural is not always good, good warning huns thanks xxxxxxxxxxx

Besides youre not allowed to have honey while pg because of hte risk of botulism (and bubs not allowed it until over one) so could that also factor? I have no idea but thought I would mention it! I ain't no scientist!

According to the Food Standards Agency...

"Honey - it's fine for pregnant women but honey isn't suitable for babies under a year old"

I am fairly new on bnb. I found your thread and wanted to help you guys. Bnb has been very helpful to me as well so I wanted to provide as much feedback as possible. I found this really great site on Bee Pollen. I wanted to get my pets on it as well. I did my research and found this site. Hope it helps any of you girls out there. I wanted to know what's the difference between RJ/ BP but it's same. Taking Raw honey or adding to foods is good as well. Just check if you have allergies. Good luck!!

Can't post link..just yet. Google: Bee pollen buzz

Hope helps

Sounds interesting, but there is always some sort of risk with all these things... thanks a lot, im gonna as my doc about this..

I thought Bee Pollen was for weight loss? I know thats what I bought it for but I couldn't take it because it apparently flushes out your system which means spending a lot of time in the bathroom. I gave it to my husband and he takes it for a week every few months to clean things out, he says. :haha:

Its actually really good for fertility in both men and women ,the kind in honey is better then pills because its absorbed better.this is the kind that many women have had success with .https://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=RJ-1034
https://forums.fertilitycommunity.c...-ivf/276953-has-anyone-taken-royal-jelly.html

Stay away from it if you have bee allergies , if your not sure if you do then start slowly 1/2 teaspoon for the first few days .

Ok, ladies, I felt like I should step in here since I am a degreed Traditional Naturopath. (ND). I have my doctorate in Naturopathy, but I am NOT a medical doctor, so I have to tell you that up front.

As for bee pollen, and ALL supplements, there CAN always be an allergy...as with any FOOD you eat. Some people cannot eat peanuts, and it is the same kind of thing. The bee pollen should not be an issue unless you have a bee allergy, but even at that...think about it. You are not getting STUNG by the bee.

If you have any doubts or concerns, DEFINITELY talk to your doctor. But in most cases, bee pollen is not going to hurt you. It is a "super food" as many like to call it, is packed with vitamins, and is very good for most people.

Again, as with any supplement (just like food) there is a risk you could have an allergic reaction, but I haven't heard of a lot of deaths by bee pollen pills.

I will tell you this, MOST MDs are not up to date on real nutritional supplements. They are not required to study this, and many of them are frowned upon for dabbling in the holistic world. If you can find an ND in your area, I would talk to them about supplements, and then take their info to your doc for review. But be VERY LEARY of 99% of what you read on the internet, since there are a lot of people giving "advice" about supplements, vitamins, etc., that have ZERO idea what they are talking about.

Here are some real deal details for you.

Bee pollen is powderlike and its produced by the anthers of flowering plants and gathered by bees. It has an antimicrobial effect and is actually used by people with allergies to strengthen the immune system.

Getting it from a LOCAL source increases its antiallergenic properties. An estimated 0.05 (half of a) percent of the population may be allergic to bee pollen. Take in SMALL amounts at first and watch for rash, wheezing or discomfort or any reaction, and DISCONTINUE use if you see any.

Bee PROPOLIS is a resinous substance collected from VARIOUS plants by bees. (NOT THE SAME THING AS BEE POLLEN.)

ROYAL JELLY actually comes FROM BEES. It is a thick, milky substance secreted from the glands of young nurse bees. It comes from the honey and pollen being combined and refined WITHIN the nurse bee. It must be combined with honey to preserve its potency, and it spoils EASILY. It must stay refrigerated in a tightly sealed container.

Hope that helps!

I have a teaspoon of local honey every day and have done for years to help with my hayfever, i have little to no symptoms any more, anyway I read about the fertility benefits and the mth i got my :bfp: Id made DH have honey on his toast every day.

Could have been a coincidence but you never know :hugs: good luck

I am still confused. The stuff I bought makes my husband and I have diarrhea and neither of us are allergic to bees. :nope:

It is in pill form.

i have been taking fresh propolis and fresh raw royal jelly.... i have heard that royal jelly has some estrogenic substance. Im wondering what that could do if your hormones are imbalanced. my temp doesnt seem like it has risen so i wonder if i am low on progesterone and maybe continueing to take something with an estrogen like compound might make the problem worse... anybody have any ideas on that?

I've taken bee pollen for years. It's very good for your immune system. I stopped taking it, but I'm going to start again because of what you just told us. Thanks for the info! :flower:

just make sure you don't have excess estrogen b/4 taking this. it's estrogenic and can cause you to have more estrogen. (you can goole royal jelly estrogenic) I read some bad stories of women taking this and it making their estrogen too high. As with anything, just make sure you know your own body and what it might or might not need.
