Beets

Can you give babies beets? lol.

JW because I've never seen a baby eating them, and I was in the grocery store, curious about it, and they don't sell it in jars (that they had there anyway, the section is large..)

I'd boil the beets myself and put them in small pieces or mash them up, but is there any reason why you wouldn't give a baby beets? Besides the different coloured diaper changes??

I have never given them to my boys but actually just bought some yesterday to make this red beet and white bean "hummus" dip for them but I looked it up for you and it says you can give them at 8-10mo and up. This page shows you how to prepare them for baby
